Background

Arthurbridge Transport Interchange was opened 30 years ago. It has served the area well during this time, but it is time to make it better.

Council is working with the local community and businesses to build support for an overhaul of the transport interchange.

Fixing the transport interchange is the last big step in the renewal of Jaymestown. It will capitalise on the significant investment in new residential and commercial development, the redevelopment of the hospital and the improvement of popular leisure facilities and public spaces.

Over the next year we will be talking to the community and working towards a better Jaymestown.
